Villa Caricia Garden
At the end of the driveway you leave both the road and daily life behind you. The driveway is lined with lights that go on at night should you arrive after it has become dark. At the end of the driveway you can park your car next to the house, just a few meters from the entrance of the villa; the path to the door is a flat, concrete surface, made for optimal wheelchair accessibility.
Start the day right with a nice cup of coffee in the sun in front of the house with a majestic view of the Mediterranean.
If it becomes too hot you can close the awning to protect yourself from direct sunlight.
Around the villa is a small garden, designed to help to take full advantage of the sunny climate. In front of the living room there is an arched gallery with a wheelchair – accessible table to use your ‘meals with a view’ outside. If it becomes too hot you can close the awning to protect yourself from direct sunlight. There is a ‘plancha’(barbeque) on gas to cook for endless dinners during long summer evenings.
Next to the pool there are a few deckchairs and a luxurious garden lounge with ample room for a wheelchair, where you can laze in the shade of the umbrellas. The lounge has an electrical fan. In the late afternoon this is a perfect spot for an aperitif and in the evenings the Moroccan-style lights turn the lounge into a romantic spot and see the sky turn dark blue and then black, while you switch on the garden lights.
Close to the pool on a corner overseeing the beautiful scenery a custom-made wheelchair accessible outdoor shower is located, running both cold and hot water. It enables everyone including the guests in a wheelchair to take a shower ‘in the middle of nature’, whilst enjoying the magnificent views.
